After a two-year hiatus, our user groups are back! This time, we’ll be at Aston University in Birmingham on Wednesday the 15th of June for ‘GIS in Action’, a one-day user group for people who are as into GIS as we are.

What does it offer?

Back in 2020, we surveyed our clients to find out what they wanted from a user group. We’re pleased to announce that GIS in Action ticks all the boxes:

✔ Client presentations showing how they use GIS 

✔ 1:2:1s with members of our team

✔ A central location accessible by train

✔ Held mid-week with a mid-afternoon finish

✔ Plentiful refreshments and a free lunch

What’s new this year?

Although we already provide financial support for the GIS community, we want to do more to help the community attract and retain top talent. We’ve therefore added a free session to the user group for students and those in the early stages of their GIS careers.
