Job background:

As a provider of open source geographic information systems (GIS), our clients, particularly those in local authorities, rely on our systems to help them share location-based data internally and with residents. If our systems were to fail, their processes and customer service would take a huge hit.

Fortunately, we have a well-managed AWS estate and an enviable uptime record, thanks to our small but mighty Platform team. Now we’re looking for an experienced, organised and unflappable Systems Administrator (DevOps) who will help us keep up the good work.

The Systems Administrator role:

Reporting to the Platform and Support Manager, this role includes cloud-based networking and server administration, as well as liaison with our clients.
