Join us at GeoPlace 25

This year’s GeoPlace conference, a free one-day event for public sector address, street and GI users, experts and decision-makers, will be held in the City of London.

You’re invited to join an expected 500 delegates in Bishopsgate on Thursday May 22nd.

What’s on offer at GeoPlace 25

The GeoPlace conference is the only event in the UK that’s 100% dedicated to gazetteer, street naming and numbering and street data issues. It offers great opportunities for networking as well as a packed agenda.

Delegates will enjoy:

  • Getting together the night before the conference for a pub quiz and refreshments (optional but highly-recommended by our team)
  • Breakfast on arrival
  • Refreshments throughout the day, including a hearty lunch
  • Presentations
  • Roundtables
  • The GeoPlace Awards – could you be a winner?
  • Post-conference drinks
  • CPD points from the Royal Geographical Society and the AGI

An exhibition will run alongside the presentations, featuring Astun and other event sponsors.

Last year’s event, the first to be held in-person since COVID, attracted delegates from almost 200 public sector organisations including several local authorities, Ordnance Survey, the Geospatial Commission, ONS and National Highways.

How to justify attending GeoPlace 25

To help you make the case for attending, GeoPlace has put together some convincing arguments

Inviting colleagues

The conference is a celebration of the work that local authority address and street Custodians and SNN Officers, Traffic Managers and Street works Managers do every day. However, Geoplace say that other officers – such as Customer Service Managers, Business Intelligence and Analytics Officers, Transformation, Policy and Research Officers and Chief Information Officers – are likely to benefit from the day’s agenda too.

Meet the Astun team at the GeoPlace conference

You’re invited to join us on Stand 19 to chat to our team about any of our geospatial technologies, including a new advanced editing tool that allows you to reduce the amount you spend on costly desktop GIS licences.
