Astun Technology was formed by Mike Saunt in 2005. Mike set out on his own with the fledgling iShare Maps application and a vision focused on web services and open source.

Now, we’re the UK market leader for open source geospatial solutions including web mapping, Enterprise GIS, metadata and data discoverability. We have an enviable track record in helping local government, charities and commercial organisations to enhance their service delivery.

We’re also a well-regarded employer and a key supporter of open source GIS.
