Cyber Essentials Accreditation

- Our ongoing commitment to security

We're delighted to announce that we've underlined our commitment to security and data protection by achieving independent certification under the government-backed Cyber Essentials scheme.

The programme helps organisations protect themselves against common cyber attacks. With the GDPR deadline from May 2018 and threats from ransomware and other forms of malware continuing to grow, it is more vital than ever for all companies to demonstrate that they take digital security seriously.

“Achieving this certification is part of our commitment to delivering excellence for our valued customers. Security is top-of-mind for organisations of all sizes, and will only be a greater concern as we continue with GDPR and head on into 2019.” commented Mike Saunt, Owner of Astun.

Astun began its certification journey in November 2018. The process involved a review of its existing policies with a few adjustments, and was completed through a searching questionnaire and an external penetration test.
