Training Overview
In addition to providing consultancy and training support for our own iShare suite, we also provide these services to those wishing to utilise the core Open Source products themselves including:
- PostgeSQL / PostGIS (Spatial Database) administration and optimisation
- GeoServer (Spatial Data Infrastructure)
- MapServer (Advanced rendering and map query engine)
- OpenLayers (JavaScript map viewer)
- Quantum GIS (Desktop GIS)
Training Venues
We run public courses at our Epsom offices (25 minutes from Central London by train) or we can come to a venue of your choice and run a bespoke course, just for you.Delivered by acknowledged experts
Matt WalkerPreviously Technical Director at Dotted Eyes, Matt has over 10 years technical and leadership experience with expertise in PostGIS, Oracle, GeoServer and all things web. He’s passionate about open software, standards and data and plays an active role in OSGeo:UK promoting the use of open geospatial software.
Jo Cook
Jo has been working with GIS for over a decade, mostly within the archaeological and heritage sector. Since 2005, she has been working with web-based GIS including Mapserver, Geoserver, PostgreSQL, PostGIS and OpenLayers. She is a Board Director of OSGeo, and founded OSGeo:UK, the local chapter in 2006.
