A number of Astun Technology customers have reported that they have been very pleased with what the SOCITM Better Connected survey had to say about their websites.
SOCITM is the membership association for all ICT professionals working in Local Authorities and the Public and Third Sectors and has been producing the Better Connected report for a number of years.
We always await the report with anticipation because it strikes at the very heart of what we are trying to do. This year we heard from Robert Steele at Mole Valley who was delighted by what SOCITM had to say about his instance of iShare. “The 'Mole Valley and Me' find-my-nearest function has an excellent and wide range of information relevant to any specific address or location and can display this on a map. This access route then links to any tasks which may be available. An excellent implementation.” It was also nice to see some of our other customers singled out for praise. Four star sites included South Tyneside and Cambridgeshire, which also figure in the top twenty. Several just missed the four star rating including, Chichester, Eden, Elmbridge and Spelthorne.
