36 PostGIS Installations and counting!

We have recently integrated our iShare platform with the Origin Local Information System (LIS) from Fluent Technology. DORIC (Data Observatory Research Intelligence Collaborative) the LIS for Cheshire, Warrington and Halton and Surreyi for the whole of Surrey are just coming on stream and mark our latest PostGIS deployments.

What this means is that we now have extensive knowledge of deploying Open Source which we can now extend beyond iShare to enterprise level solutions. We recently installed PostGIS at Surrey Heath Borough Council, displacing Oracle, for enterprise-wide access to MasterMap and other OS mapping. We will be providing more details of this deployment shortly.
