iShare is extremely flexible and being GIS and Back Office system agnostic it has been built to integrate. In fact at last count (July 2010) we'd integrated over 50 systems and external web services from a variety of suppliers.
Customer Relationship Management
Local authorities are large users of CRM systems especially in their call centres and one-stop-shops. In most instances these are sophisticated forms based applications. We've integrated in a variety of ways whether enabling simple lookups via a UPRN (Unique Property Reference Number) to to Read/Write integration for fault reporting via our Logger module
Spatial Data Warehouses
iShare is GIS agnostic and if your data is in an accessible format whether proprietary (ArcSDE) or open (Oracle, PostGIS etc) iShare will set your data free!
Content Management Systems
Within your CMS you simply need to build wrapper headers and footers for iShare to integrate. iShare will dynamically request these templates and then inject its own HTML within them for a seamless user experience. We understand the web so you won't find us using things such as iFrames!
External Web Services
Pull data through such as NHS Choices (Doctors, Dentists etc), Crime data from National Crime Maps website, Roadworks from Elgin or ANY other web service available on the internet!
